VIDEO: Two Trams Collide in Prague
Two trams have collided on Modřanská Street in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. As a result, two individuals were injured, including one of the drivers who was trapped in the cabin and a 48-year-old passenger. Both injured persons have been hospitalized.
The accident occurred around 6:00 AM on May 24. It remains unclear why one tram failed to slow down and crashed into the other from behind. At the time of the collision, there were 10 passengers traveling on the trams.
The police are investigating the reasons behind the incident. Tram traffic in the accident area has been temporarily suspended.
