Request for Investigation into Wildberries in Russia

Human rights defenders have requested the Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor's Office to initiate an investigation concerning Wildberries. The online retailer is suspected of fraud.

This was reported to TASS by Georgy Volkov, the head of the Moscow Union of E-commerce.

“In my opinion, Wildberries has blocked supplier funds amounting to approximately 2.23 billion rubles without a court decision, as well as holding and selling the property of others worth about 50 billion without any legal basis,” the agency's interlocutor stated.
