Video: How the Tragic KamAZ Accident Occurred in Artik

On May 22, a tragic accident occurred in the Shirak province. Around 12:00 PM, a 60-year-old man named Stepan M. lost control of the KamAZ truck he was driving on Narekatsi Street in the city of Artik. The vehicle veered off the road, crashed into a metal electricity pole, toppled it, continued moving, and collided with some stones and an earthen mound. It rolled over, hit a partially constructed building, and overturned. This information was reported by Shamshyan.com.

As a result of the collision, the driver died on the spot. The crash caused approximately 30 square meters of a wall of the building to collapse. Additionally, the two wooden posts, which supported the electrical and internet cables, were also knocked down due to the toppled electricity pole.
