I Can Prove That I Never Promised Anyone a Corridor Through Armenian Territory: Pashinyan
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that he can prove he has never promised anyone a corridor through the territory of the Republic of Armenia, nor has he allowed the impression to be created that he intends to do so. This remark was made during a Q&A session with government officials in the National Assembly.
“Our opposition colleagues have promoted a narrative for a long time, claiming that during the negotiations at the time of the war, I promised a corridor and am now withholding it, which is why escalations are occurring and the situation is unstable. I make this statement responsibly, in front of the entire world. I can prove, in the format of sworn testimonies, that I never promised anyone a corridor through the territory of the Republic of Armenia, nor did I allow the impression to be created that I wanted to do such a thing. I am not saying this from the podium as a political statement. I am saying this because I can prove it, and there can be no objection to it. There are, however, materials that I can declassify at my discretion, but we understand that this is not only related to me,” the Prime Minister noted.
