Aliyev: New Meetings with Armenian Side Scheduled Soon
New meetings with the Armenian side are planned for the near future, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced today during a meeting in Baku with a delegation led by Margareta Söderfeldt, the president of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
According to him, these communications will take place during various international conferences. Aliyev claimed that Azerbaijan is in favor of signing a peace treaty with Armenia based on the five principles presented by Baku.
“Among these is the mutual recognition of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of states,” Aliyev stated.
