Passenger Car Collides with MAN Bus, Minimal Damage Reported: Avinyan
During a recent incident, a passenger vehicle collided with a MAN brand bus, which reportedly sustained little to no damage. This was stated by Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan during a working session at the Yerevan City Hall today.
“The MAN bus was hardly affected, while the front of this car was completely destroyed. Has the company we contracted already started providing service?” Avinyan inquired.
Hovhannes Manukyan, the director of Yerevan Bus LLC, replied, “The right side of the MAN was damaged. We have now taken it out of service and replaced it with a reserve MAN bus so that even with minor damage, it can continue its route.” He also mentioned that they had called for an insurance assessment and are waiting for the evaluation.
Commenting on this observation, Deputy Mayor Avinyan noted that the image was truly strange and impressive. “Indeed, they are very high-quality buses,” he added.
