Body of a Man Found in the Area of Dilijan State College
Today, May 15, a tragic incident occurred in the Tavush region. At approximately 18:40, a call was received at the Tavush regional office of the Police of the Republic of Armenia and the Dilijan police department from the Dilijan medical center, indicating that an emergency medical team had been dispatched to Student Street in Dilijan, where they discovered a man's body.
According to Shamshyan.com, the police and investigators have determined that the deceased was 39-year-old Argam Hovhannisyan, a resident of Dilijan. He had reportedly been electrocuted at the deactivated boiler room adjacent to the Dilijan State College, located at 70 Student Street, at around 18:20 on the same day, and died at the scene.
According to forensic expert Avetisyan's preliminary conclusion, no signs of violence were found on the body during the external examination. The investigator has ordered a forensic examination of the body.
The police and the Investigative Department are trying to clarify the circumstances under which he ended up at the specified location, with reports indicating that he was not alone at the time. Due to the interests of the investigation, certain details are not being disclosed.
