Young Man Attempts to Blow Up Mush Police Station in Gyumri
A young man in Gyumri entered the Mush police station and attempted to blow up the building. This information was reported by a Sputnik Armenia correspondent.
The incident occurred on May 22 at around 5:30 PM. The man stated that he had personal issues and pulled out an F-1 type grenade, threatening to detonate it if his problems were not resolved.
Gyumri human rights defender Karapet Poghosyan informed Sputnik Armenia that the 27-year-old man entered the police station with the grenade in hand, and his intention was not to blow up the building but to harm himself. Police intervened and tried to disarm him.
The man has been arrested, and a criminal case has been initiated to investigate the circumstances.
