Senior U.S. officials at the State Department have responded to reporters' questions regarding the ongoing Armenia-Azerbaijan dialogue in Washington. This is reported by Voice of America.
Caucasus negotiations senior advisor Louis Bono and Deputy Assistant Secretary Erica Olson emphasized the U.S. commitment to a peaceful resolution and informed that this week the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan will hold a series of meetings at the George Shultz National Foreign Affairs Training Center in the Washington area.
According to Bono, the parties have acknowledged that this is the first time they are meeting consecutively over several days. He stressed that the discussions are proceeding in a very constructive manner.
