I Received the Medal of Courage for Valor in Wagner: Son of Kremlin Spokesman

Nikolai Peskov, the son of Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, has been awarded the Medal of Courage for his service in the Wagner Private Military Company.

Nikolai Peskov shared this information with the Kommersant newspaper. “For a certain combat feat. My entire crew acted heroically. We had an interesting assignment. I can’t say more,” he stated.

According to Peskov Jr., he had to reach out to his father, who helped him make contact with the Wagner group. He added that he served as a private, although he was promoted to sergeant during his mandatory military service.

Earlier, Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the Wagner group, mentioned in an interview with one of the Telegram channels that Dmitry Peskov had asked him to enlist his son as a regular artilleryman.
