VIDEO: Taguhi Tovmasyan on Her Political Action

The independent MP of the National Assembly of Armenia, Taguhi Tovmasyan, decided to stage a protest and not step down from the podium. She announced this during a discussion following the government’s performance report for 2022 in the NA.

“I declare a political action, and as a sign of protest, I will not leave the NA podium. I will not allow lies to be spread from the country’s number one podium, to cast doubt on the Armenian identity of Artsakh or the history of the Armenian people. Dear colleagues, if you agree with my observations, you can join my action. I can no longer tolerate lies, misrepresentation, and the defamation of people being voiced from this high podium. Enough is enough. Wake up and understand your share of responsibility,” said Tovmasyan.
