Azerbaijan Lost 5-0, Support Banner for Artsakh at the Stadium
During the Euro 2024 qualifying match between Sweden and Azerbaijan, a banner was displayed in the stands by home fans showing support for Artsakh. The fans revealed a banner reading "Stop the Blockade of Artsakh," along with the flags of Armenia and Artsakh.
This was reported by former Armenian national team player Leon Pachajyan, who has been living in Sweden for a long time, on his Facebook page. He stated: "Sweden is pro-Armenian because here, a person, human life, and human freedoms are absolute values. As I expected, yesterday Sweden won 5-0 against Armenia's 'neighbor,' while the flags of Artsakh and Armenia in the stands reminded everyone that 120,000 Armenians are under blockade."
It is worth noting that the Azerbaijani team suffered a defeat in that match with a score of 0-5.
