KP Members Refuse to Engage with Arsen Torosyan: What is the Reason? ‘Hraparak’
‘Hraparak’ daily reports: “Members of the ruling Civil Contract party have been ignoring their fellow party member, former Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan. In recent days, KP members have been refusing to engage with Torosyan, who has come under the scrutiny of law enforcement and could end up in detention at any moment. Even KP lawmakers are not ‘liking’ Torosyan’s posts, especially the latest one where he criticized the authorities and the law enforcement system.
We have learned that the issue of Arsen Torosyan’s fate was not discussed within the KP until yesterday; at least, ordinary deputies are in deep uncertainty about whether to defend their fellow party member or to condemn him, placing him in the ranks of former thieves. Our sources within the KP are confident of one thing: Torosyan is not someone who will easily give in; if they decide to detain him, he could open his archive of compromising materials against many people.”
