U.S. Congressman Brad Sherman, commenting on the blockade of Artsakh, stated that Armenians have lived in this region for thousands of years, which Joseph Stalin maliciously made part of Azerbaijan. The remarks were made during a hearing of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Foreign Operations.
During the hearing, the congressman also called for direct humanitarian aid to be provided to the people of Artsakh who are currently under blockade by Azerbaijan in the 2024 fiscal year.
“They are in dire need of humanitarian assistance, and I hope you will be generous and provide humanitarian aid to the people of Artsakh,” he emphasized.
