Russia, Turkey, Syria, and Iran Negotiations May Take Place Next Week – Russian Foreign Ministry
Russia and Turkey are looking to hold a quadrilateral meeting in Moscow at the level of deputy foreign ministers next week; however, no response has been received yet from Syria and Iran. This was reported to TASS by Mikhail Bogdanov, the Special Representative of the Russian President for the Middle East and African countries and Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia.
“We have not yet received confirmations from all parties. We are waiting for responses from the Syrians and Iranians to see how convenient this is for them,” he said.
As the Deputy Foreign Minister clarified, this will be a technical meeting in preparation for a meeting of the foreign ministers of the four countries at the deputy foreign ministers’ level.
