Baku Accuses Paris Over Statement Regarding Events in Artsakh
Baku criticizes Paris for its statement documenting the armed attack on a police vehicle in Artsakh. In response to the bloody events that took place in Artsakh on March 5, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs clearly indicated that the police vehicle was targeted from the Azerbaijani side.
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a special statement, insists that "official Paris continues to exhibit a biased and unfounded stance."
“Justification of such provocations on Azerbaijani territory is unacceptable,” stated Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ayhan Hacizade, adding that Baku is “fully determined to take all necessary steps to prevent ongoing provocations by the Armenian side.”
