VIDEO. Mass Protests Continue in Israel

Protests took place in Tel Aviv overnight against judicial reforms. Demonstrators faced off against police, who utilized tear gas.

This marks the ninth consecutive week of protests in Tel Aviv against judicial reforms. People have been taking to the streets every Saturday.

The proposed changes grant greater powers to the government and limit the authority of the Supreme Court by enabling it to annul laws.

Last night, approximately 140,000 people took to the streets, managing to break through police lines. As a result, law enforcement had to use special techniques to disperse the protesters, although they only succeeded in detaining four individuals.
