VIDEO. Severe Storms in the US Lead to Fatalities

The number of casualties from the storm moving from the southern to the northeastern United States has reached 10, according to CNN. Earlier reports indicated that five fatalities were linked to the severe weather.

“At least 10 people have died in several states due to extreme weather conditions across the country,” the network reports. Specifically, four victims are from Kentucky, three from Alabama, and one each from Arkansas, Mississippi, and California.

According to the monitoring service PowerOutage.us, over one million households and businesses have been left without electricity across five American states.
