Bayramov Accuses Armenia of Violating Corridor Usage Rules

Bayramov has accused Armenia of adopting a destructive stance regarding the resolution of the Lachin corridor issue, stating that the so-called environmentalists' protests are due to Armenia's violations of the rules for using the corridor, which should be strictly humanitarian in nature.

“For two years, the Azerbaijani side has discussed the gross violations of the corridor's usage by Armenia through both closed channels and directly, as well as through mediators. However, nothing has yielded results. And when the situation escalated to protests, the Armenian side refused to adjust its position and officially stated at the highest political level that there is no connection with this issue, its root causes, or road safety questions,” Bayramov pointed out, adding that Armenia is thus trying to shift all responsibility onto Russia and Azerbaijan.
