Moscow and Beijing are prepared to defend each other's interests in the international arena, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated during a meeting with Wang Yi, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and head of its Foreign Affairs Office.
"Our relations are developing steadily and dynamically, and despite the high turbulence prevailing in the global arena, we demonstrate solidarity and readiness to protect each other's interests, based on international law and the central role of the UN," Lavrov said.
