US Comments on Mirzoyan's Visit to Turkey
US State Department spokesperson Ned Price commented on the visit of Armenia's Foreign Minister to Turkey during a press briefing.
“I will reserve the right to comment on the relationship between the governments of these two countries. Our message to both Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as to the entire region, is to find a way to reduce tensions. We have participated in these negotiations bilaterally, our efforts are multilateral in nature, and we will continue to do everything possible. We hope that other countries will send the same signal,” Price said.
“We certainly welcome all countries that are taking steps to care for those affected by the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. Several countries have shown generosity, and we want to fully overcome the consequences of these powerful earthquakes,” Price added.
