Snow, Black Ice. Roads in Armenia

The Emergency Situations Service reports that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia.

Closed are the roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd Fortress and the Kary Lake.

In the Aragatsotn region, there is black ice present on the Agvani-Tatev and Sisian-Zanger roadways.

In the Armavir region, snow is falling on the ground.

As for Larsi, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia’s Emergency Management Service and the North Ossetia’s Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is open for all types of vehicles.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
