Death Toll from Earthquake in Turkey Rises: Latest Data

The death toll from the earthquake in Turkey has reached 29,605. According to Turkish authorities, approximately 8,000 buildings are set to be demolished across ten provinces in the country.

It should be noted that on February 6, two earthquakes measuring 7.7 and 7.6 occurred in the Kahramanmaraş province in southeastern Turkey, with a nine-hour gap between them. The tremors, followed by hundreds of aftershocks, were felt across ten provinces in the country and in neighboring countries, with Syria being the most severely affected.
