Arsen Torosyan: They Should Have Neutralized the Driver with Direct Fire

Member of the Yerevan City Council faction 'My Step', Ashot Sargsyan, addressed the actions of the traffic police on his Facebook page, discussing an emergency incident that occurred during a public event. Sargsyan stated that the actions of the traffic police should not be underestimated.

“After all, it’s the center of the city, busy streets, and such an uncontrolled driver. I believe careful actions were necessary; at any moment, he could have collided with other vehicles or injured many people while fleeing,” wrote Torosyan’s former advisor.

In response to his post, Arsen Torosyan commented: “They should have neutralized him with direct fire the moment he drove onto the sidewalk—whether he got injured or killed, it doesn’t matter.”
