Mirzoyan and Karen Donfried Discuss Humanitarian Crisis in Artsakh
On February 10, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a phone conversation with US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Karen Donfried. This was reported by the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
The interlocutors addressed regional security issues. They exchanged views on the normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and the humanitarian crisis that has arisen in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Ararat Mirzoyan reaffirmed the necessity to urgently lift Azerbaijan's illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor and restore the normal regime established by the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020, without any preconditions. Earlier today, Mirzoyan also had a phone conversation with Brice Roquefort, the French co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group.
