Fundraising Organized in Artsakh to Support Syria

The earthquake that struck the Syrian Arab Republic on February 6 resulted in significant human losses and destruction, severely affecting the local Armenian community. Our compatriots living in different parts of the world are now turning their attention to the Armenian community in Syria, which has found itself in a dire situation due to the earthquake. This information was reported by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.

“Despite the difficult conditions of the blockade, the Government of Artsakh, in collaboration with the Artsakh branch of the Armenian Relief Society, has decided to join nationwide support efforts by organizing a fundraising campaign. We urge citizens living in Artsakh to actively participate in the fundraising and lend a helping hand to our compatriots affected by the natural disaster. Only through our unified national strength and sincere efforts to support each other can we overcome both natural disasters and man-made challenges,” the distributed statement reads.
