Russia Permanently Bans Entry of 77 Americans
According to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, "In response to the expansion of the list of sanctions against Russians by Washington, Russia is permanently banning the entry of 77 Americans into the Federation." The list includes not only American state and political figures but also their family members.
It is noted that among those sanctioned are the governors of Washington and New Mexico, the daughter of the governor of Kentucky, the wife of the governor of California, and other individuals. "Once again, we reiterate that Washington's sanctions against Moscow will backfire on the U.S.," the Russian Foreign Ministry's statement said.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, there are currently 1,344 U.S. citizens on Russia's 'blacklist.' The United States has consistently imposed sanctions against Russian individuals and legal entities involved in Russia's aggression against Ukraine. Recently, a network of 10 individuals and 12 legal entities was uncovered, which helped Russia maintain its defense industrial complex by circumventing sanctions, leading to restrictions on these individuals.
