Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Criticizes Macron: The Reason Revealed
Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani has sharply criticized French President Emmanuel Macron for his unconstructive remarks regarding Iran during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Paris. This information was reported by Tasnim.
He stated that President Macron's meeting with the prime minister of a regime infamous for organized terrorism, violence, massacres, and the grim phenomenon of the forced displacement of women and children in Western Asia, including Palestine, deserves condemnation and regret.
According to Kanani, the French president criticizes Iran's peaceful nuclear activities while seemingly forgetting that Israel possesses dozens of nuclear warheads but tolerates no international oversight. He labeled Israel as the most serious threat to regional and international peace and security, citing its grim record of occupation and military aggression.
Kanani emphasized that it would be appropriate for France to inform the world about how the "Zionist regime's terrorists" gained access to nuclear weapons, rather than expressing false concerns about Iran's peaceful nuclear activities, which are under the oversight of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
He advised French officials to correct their "incorrect" approach, return to the principle of mutual respect, and cease actions that harm bilateral relations.
Reportedly, during the meeting with Netanyahu, Macron stated that Iran's nuclear activities would "inevitably have consequences."
