Iran's Foreign Minister's Visit to Russia Not Canceled, Says Russian Foreign Ministry
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian will travel to Russia. This was announced by Zamir Kabulov, director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Second Asian Department, while adding that the dates for the Iranian official's visit to Russia are still being discussed.
“The dates are not known, we have not yet received a response, so I cannot say anything. The visit has been postponed, not canceled,” Kabulov said.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that negotiations between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, scheduled for January 17, have been postponed.
