A Crucial Opportunity for Peace and Stability Has Emerged After the Armenia-Azerbaijan War
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu held a joint press conference in Istanbul with his Argentine counterpart, during which he addressed the following issue, as reported by Ermenihaber.
“A crucial opportunity for peace and stability has emerged in the Caucasus after the Armenia-Azerbaijan war. I also conveyed information about the steps being taken in this regard and the normalization process between Turkey-Armenia and Armenia-Azerbaijan during our meeting today with my Argentine colleague,” he stated.
According to Çavuşoğlu, their goal is for the South Caucasus to also become a region of stability and development. He claimed that Turkey and Azerbaijan are making sincere efforts in this regard and are even encouraging Armenia on this matter. “I believe that in the near future, the South Caucasus will be a region where development, stability, and peace will be discussed,” concluded the Turkish Foreign Minister.
