Blinken Appoints Senior Advisor for Negotiations in the Caucasus
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has appointed Louis L. Bono as Senior Advisor for Negotiations in the Caucasus. This information was reported by the U.S. State Department's press service.
Bono has previously served as the acting U.S. representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency, as well as the acting charge d'affaires at the Holy See. He has also held the position of director of the Basra Regional Office and has been a member of the National Security Council, as well as an economic and business advisor to the Secretary of State.
Bono will work bilaterally with like-minded partners, including the European Union and international organizations such as the OSCE, to promote direct dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
