What is Happening in the Middle East is a Consequence of Aggression Against Artsakh: Davit Babayan
What is currently happening in the Middle East and what will follow is a result of everything that transpired in Artsakh in 2020 after the aggression from Azerbaijan, Turkey, and international terrorists. This was stated by Davit Babayan, former head of the Artsakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs, presidential advisor, and representative for special assignments, on his Telegram channel.
“Little Artsakh-Karabakh was indeed a powerful shield against the movements of radicalism and expansionism,” Babayan wrote.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan, with the direct support of Turkey and the involvement of international mercenaries, unleashed a war against the Republic of Artsakh on September 27, 2020. During the 44-day war, Azerbaijani forces subjected the peaceful settlements of Artsakh to artillery and missile attacks, including the use of prohibited weapons.
Since December 12, the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, the Lachin corridor, remains closed.
