Economic Activity Indicator in Armenia Reaches 14.2%: Ministry of Economy
The Ministry of Economy of Armenia has published the macroeconomic operational indicators for December 2022, comparing January-December 2022 with January-December 2021.
The economic activity indicator stood at 14.2%. The volume of industrial output increased by 7.8%, the volume of services grew by 28.2%, trade turnover rose by 17.0%, construction volume increased by 12.5%, and agricultural output experienced a 0.4% rise. Export volume soared by 77.7%, while import volume grew by 63.5%.
When comparing December 2022 to December 2021, the economic activity indicator reached 12.8%. The volume of industrial output increased by 2.7%, services volume saw a rise of 27.9%, trade turnover climbed by 23.9%, construction volume grew by 7.3%, export volume rose by 90.2%, and import volume increased by 60.2%.
