Putin Intends to Establish Control Over Ukraine, Says Stoltenberg

In Seoul, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin intends to establish control over Ukraine.

“We do not see indications that President Putin has changed the ultimate goal of this invasion—to control the neighbor, to control Ukraine,” said the Secretary General.

He believes that Moscow is not preparing for peace; on the contrary, “They are acquiring new weapons, more ammunition, increasing their production, and also purchasing weapons from authoritarian countries such as Iran and North Korea,” Stoltenberg added.

He also noted that Russia is mobilizing more troops, with numbers exceeding 200,000.
