Closed Door Meeting in the Civil Contract Party: What Issues Are Being Discussed?
The Civil Contract faction is holding a closed-door meeting. This has been reported by the media.
According to Armlur.am, the agenda will also include an article by the newspaper "Zhoghovurd" titled "Assistants of Civil Contract MPs Are Demanding Bonuses," wherein it was reported that a group of assistants to Civil Contract MPs, with the knowledge of their "bosses," are demanding bonuses from the Speaker of the National Assembly. The newspaper intended to publish a list of which assistants of the Civil Contract MPs participated in the signature collection.
At the same time, according to hraparak.am, they will likely also discuss the issue of presenting a candidate for the Human Rights Defender (HRD). The deadline for submitting a candidate for the HRD is February 2, which is the tenth day after the resignation, and former HRD Kristine Grigoryan announced her resignation request on January 23.
