Response to Complaints About High Prices in Artsakh
In response to numerous public complaints regarding the high prices of certain goods, we inform you that the Commission regulating public services and economic competition in the Republic of Artsakh, through working groups from supervisory and tax bodies, is conducting price-setting studies related to the issues raised concerning the high prices of goods.
Considering that not all goods sold by commercial entities are acquired in accordance with the regulations established by the Artsakh Republic's Agricultural Support Fund, it is therefore impossible to fully control the pricing mechanisms. We urge commercial entities to refrain from acquiring and selling goods at marked-up prices compared to those before the blockade, without justified documentation.
Meanwhile, we inform you that in Stepanakert, the compliance with the statements mentioned above will be monitored by the working groups, while in the regions, it will be overseen by the regional administrations.
