EU Foreign Ministers Meeting to Be Held Today, New Mission for Armenia Expected to Be Approved
Today, a meeting of EU foreign ministers will take place in Brussels. According to a senior official, the situation around Armenia will be discussed, and a new EU mission for Armenia is expected to be approved, which should help facilitate resolution in the region. This information is reported by TASS.
The diplomat noted that the EU is closely monitoring the events occurring around the Lachin corridor and is making efforts to stabilize the situation.
The official stated that the foreign ministers of the 27 member countries of the Union will also discuss the conflict in Ukraine, specifically President Volodymyr Zelensky's proposed peace plan. The EU intends to provide an additional 500 million euros in military assistance to Ukraine.
