Three of the Four CSTO Exercises Will Be Held in Belarus
In 2023, three of the four planned exercises will take place in Belarus. This was stated on Sunday by Pavel Muraveyko, the first deputy secretary of the country's Security Council, in an interview with STV television, as reported by TASS.
“Out of the four exercises held annually by the organization, three are scheduled to be conducted on our territory. These include the operational response exercise 'Interaction' for collective forces, the reconnaissance units exercise 'Search', and in September, the rear support exercise 'Echelon',” he said.
Muraveyko also mentioned that under Belarus' presidency in the CSTO in 2023, an 'Eurasian Security International Conference' is planned, aiming to facilitate broad dialogue at the level of foreign ministers, defense ministers, and security secretaries.
