Cases of Death and Inability to Bury: Ruben Vardanyan
It is the 31st day of the blockade, which means we are facing issues related to food supplies, all links of infrastructure, healthcare, and we have families divided from each other. There are cases where people have died and cannot be buried, among other challenges. This was stated by Ruben Vardanyan, the Minister of State of Artsakh, during a video bridge between Stepanakert and Yerevan.
"The neighboring state claims that there are no problems, but they truly do not want to accept reality. According to their calculations, about 400 vehicles have passed in this month, and if we look back to the period before the blockade, more vehicles passed in a single day. This indicates the existence of a crisis. There are problems everywhere, but at the same time, all of this has united us, it showed that both the state and society are together during this difficult time," said Vardanyan.
He noted that the rally on December 25 demonstrated that the people are ready to stand alongside the state, emphasizing that their fight is not against the blockade but for the right to live on their own land.
