Tonoayan's Lawyers Release Statement

David Tonoayan's legal team has released a statement.

"Only one year and three months after the arrest of former Minister of Defense David Tonoayan, the defense has been given the opportunity to present and examine evidence fully contradicting the charges during three court hearings. In particular, to substantiate the necessity and legality of acquiring missiles, the legality of the actions of the accused officials within the scope of their powers, compliance of the missiles in question with technical standards, requirements, and maintenance deadlines, as well as the illegality, inaccuracies, and directed haste that occurred during the preliminary investigation. Considering the aforementioned circumstances, the defense will again petition the court to change the measure of restraint."
