Peskov Describes Armen Grigoryan's Statements as Provocative
The Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, considers the statements made by the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia to be provocative.
“Such statements can be considered provocative. They do not correspond to reality. No Russian officials have said this, nor have they represented it to the Armenian side,” Peskov told News.am.
As previously reported, Armen Grigoryan made a number of prominent statements the day before regarding the Azerbaijani incursion into Armenia's sovereign territory on September 13, as well as the closure of the Lachin corridor, framing them within the context of Russian pressure on Armenia.
