Former Liverpool footballer Jamie Carragher spoke about former Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo, according to championat.com.

“Ronaldo has remained Ronaldo; he has always been this way. But he used to deliver results, and working with him made sense. That's how sports work. Any head coach wants to get more from a player and spend less energy on him. When there are too many problems, the player has to leave,” Carragher's comments were quoted by the Daily Mail.

It is noteworthy that earlier, Ronaldo had given a controversial interview to British journalist Piers Morgan, in which he expressed negative remarks about Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag and the club's management. Following this, the English club announced the termination of Ronaldo's contract.
