US President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron have pledged to provide Ukraine with air defense systems and equipment necessary for repairing its energy grid, reports Unian.
The presidents strongly condemned Russia's war against Ukraine and the shelling of civilians and civilian infrastructure, stating that such actions are war crimes for which those responsible must be held accountable.
Biden and Macron also condemned Russia's illegal attempt to annex Ukraine's sovereign territory, which violates international law, the media outlet adds, referring to the joint statement.
