“Perhaps Russia will come to terms with the idea that it cannot provide a corridor,” Hrachya Hakobyan

During an interview with a reporter, Hrachya Hakobyan, a member of the National Assembly from the Civil Contract party, addressed Russia's position regarding the so-called ‘corridor’ issue:

“We should not rule out that perhaps at some stage, Russia may come to terms with the idea that it cannot provide a corridor, and it might enter that field and discuss in a trilateral format involving Putin, Pashinyan, and Aliyev, advancing the thesis that a corridor cannot exist. Perhaps Russia, considering the events happening around the world, and also the ongoing war between it and Ukraine, might come to that conclusion, especially seeing how determined Armenia is—represented by our Government, Prime Minister Pashinyan—to make a different decision and alter its stance on this issue. However, as far as I am following the news, Russia does not directly state that a corridor should pass through Armenian territory, but it is doing so in a somewhat more concealed manner.”
