Peskov Comments on Kadyrov's Call to Use Nuclear Weapons
The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, has commented on the statement made by Chechnya's leader Ramzan Kadyrov, who called for the use of low-yield nuclear weapons within the framework of the special operation. Peskov stated that the grounds for using such weapons are outlined in the relevant doctrine, and no other considerations can be made.
“Our use of nuclear weapons occurs based on what is stated in the appropriate doctrine; there can be no other considerations here,” Peskov told reporters in response to a request to comment on Kadyrov's statements regarding the use of nuclear weapons within the framework of the special operation in Ukraine.
