We Are Trying to Restore the Historical Silk Road: Cavusoglu
The Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has announced that they are working with Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Central Asian countries to restore the historical Silk Road. This was reported by Turkish media.
According to him, the official Ankara speaks to each country in a language they understand. "For example, we will speak the language that Greece understands," said Cavusoglu.
He also commented on the recent developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, including the situation created around Cyprus. "Turkey will respond with concrete steps to Washington's decision to lift the arms embargo on Greek Cyprus. If you want escalation on the island, we will respond accordingly," Cavusoglu warned.
