What Aliyev and the French President's Advisor Discussed

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has received Isabelle Dumont, the French President's advisor on continental Europe and Turkey, according to Azerbaijani media.

"The meeting highlighted discussions and constructive dialogue between French President Emmanuel Macron and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during their phone conversations," the announcement stated.

Azerbaijani media points out that "the exchange of views took place regarding the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the negotiations for a peace treaty, border delimitation, and the opening of communications." It is worth mentioning that the day before, Azerbaijan had committed another military provocation against Armenia's sovereign territory, resulting in the death of three Armenian soldiers.
