Rubinyan on Possible Erdoğan-Pashinyan Meeting
Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan spoke about the upcoming possible meeting between Erdoğan and Pashinyan in Prague in an interview with Azatutyun. He stated, "The agenda will be the Armenia-Turkey normalization process, and our positions in this regard remain unchanged."
Rubinyan last met with Turkey's special representative Kılıç in July, during which an agreement was reached regarding the opening of borders and the creation of possibilities for the citizens of third countries. Speaking about the upcoming meetings, the Deputy Speaker informed: "In fact, there was a plan for a meeting on September 14 between representatives of the relevant authorities of the two countries at the border; however, this meeting was postponed indefinitely at the request of the Turkish side due to the days of Azerbaijani aggression. What we agreed upon must be implemented; after all, there is a political agreement and political responsibility."
