Boys, there are red lines that should not be crossed. Malatia-Sebastia leader to police
“The police's actions in Yerablur were incorrect and condemnable,” wrote Sasha Katvalyan, the head of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district, on his Facebook page.
On the evening prior, relatives of the fallen had gathered in Yerablur to prevent Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's visit there. Police forcibly removed 37 parents from the area and took them to various police stations. They were later released.
“I have never accepted and will never accept any demonstration in Yerablur. Yerablur should not be a venue for political games, calls, or protests. Today, the police acted in at least a non-professional manner, and the way they took the mothers of the fallen was very inappropriate. As the son of a soldier who died in the Artsakh war, I say that the police's actions were wrong and condemnable,” Katvalyan wrote. He emphasized that there are red lines that should not be crossed.
