Delegation Led by CSTO Secretary General Arrives in Armenia
A delegation led by CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas has arrived in Armenia, according to the Organization’s secretariat.
The CSTO mission, under the leadership of Secretary General Stanislav Zas, has come to Armenia to assess the situation, including along the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan, and to prepare proposals for joint additional measures, said CSTO press secretary Vladimir Zainetdinov.
The delegation is tasked with evaluating the current situation, presenting a detailed report on the regional circumstances to the leaders of CSTO member states, and developing proposals to ease tensions in certain areas of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. The mission will involve studying and monitoring the situation in border areas and holding meetings with Armenia’s top political and military leadership, Zainetdinov announced.
The delegation comprises representatives from CSTO member countries, who are employees of the Organization’s working bodies, Zainetdinov clarified.
